A man has been sentenced after admitting causing grievous bodily harm to a woman.
Christopher Wilson appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Thursday, February 22, via video link from HMP Durham.
The defendant was on remand at HMP Durham after being charged with the offence last year.
Wilson, 32, of Springhill Road, Accrington, spoke only to confirm his name and enter his plea.
He pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent on September 14, 2023.
A sentence hearing at Burnley Crown Court on Friday, April 19, heard that he was given 50 months in custody.
